Short version

Your financial data stays on your device. Finance Tracker has no ads, no trackers, and no analytics. We do not see, collect, or sell your transactions.

What stays on your device

All transactions, budgets, goals, credit ledger entries, and notes
Document conversions (PDF ⇄ Word ⇄ Excel) — processed entirely on your phone
Your PIN / biometric lock settings

What is optional: account sync

Sync is off unless you create an account. If you do:

Your data syncs to your own account (Firebase Authentication) so it follows you across devices — including the web app.
Synced data is yours alone; it is not shared, analysed, or used for advertising.
Guest mode keeps everything only on the device (data is lost on uninstall).

Optional AI features

Features like "Suggest from note" or the AI budget coach send a small, anonymous snippet of the relevant numbers to an AI service through a proxy. If you never use these features, nothing is ever sent. You can use the entire app without them.

Permissions

Notifications — for bill, credit and installment reminders (optional)
Camera — only when you use receipt scanning (optional)
Storage — only to save/export files you create (PDF, CSV, backups)

Data deletion

Guest data: uninstalling the app removes it. Account data: sign in and delete your account from Settings — this removes the synced copy from our servers.
